The Quiet Reason I Chose Her - The reason behind choosing Caify

I still don’t fully know why I fell in love with her. I’ve turned it over in my mind more times than I can count. Late at night, when the house is quiet and my thoughts have nowhere else to go, I ask the same question again and again: Why her? Why not someone easier, someone less complicated, someone who didn’t leave this strange permanent mark on me? Was it her adorable body? The way it seemed to invite without trying? The soft curves, the way clothes sat on her, the quiet confidence of someone who didn’t realize how completely she filled a room simply by existing in it? Was it her eyes? The way they looked at me like I was both a secret and a safe place at the same time? Was it her smile? That small, slightly crooked one that appeared when she was genuinely happy, the one that made everything around her feel lighter for a moment? Was it just her presence? The way the air changed when she walked in. How ordinary days suddenly felt like they were holding their breath, waiting for her t...

Aaj Aur Abhi Se

"Mohabbat agar wajah ban jaaye, toh insaan apni hadon se bhi aage nikal jaata hai." Kabhi socha hai ki mohabbat ka sabse khoobsurat izhaar kya hota hai? "I love you?" Ya phir, "Main tumhare liye chaand taare tod laaunga?" Mujhe nahi lagta. Usse jh...

One Day They'll Ask You To Leave Yourself Too...

"Babuji ne kaha gaon chhod do... sabne kaha Paro ko chhod do... Paro ne kaha sharaab chhod do... aaj tumne keh diya haveli chhod do... ek din aayega jab wo kahenge, duniya hi chhod do..." I think Devdas was never about alcohol. Neither was it about Paro. Devdas was a story about a man who was slowly being asked to leave everything he had ever loved... piece by piece... until there was nothing left to leave except himself. And sometimes... I wonder whether all of us become Devdas someday. Life has a strange habit of asking us to let go of things we never wanted to lose. First, it takes away our childhood. Then our innocence. Then the people we thought would stay forever. Slowly... very slowly... it keeps negotiating with our heart. It never asks for everything together. It would be too cruel if it did. So it takes one thing at a time. And the worst part is... after a certain point, we stop fighting. I remember someone once asking me, "Kabir, tum life me kya chahte ho?...

To My Caify

Caify, kaash main tumhe bataa sakta, main tumhe kitna chahta hoon. I love you, I love you very, very much, Caify. Main aankhein band karta hoon toh tumhe dekhta hoon, aankhein kholta hoon toh tumhe dekhna chahta hoon. Tum paas nahin hoti toh tumhe charon taraf mehsoos karta hoon. Har pal, har ghadi, har waqt mere naina meri Caify ko dhoondhte hain. Ise pyaar kaho, paagalpan ya mere dil ki dhadkan — mere liye ek hi baat hai. Pyaar toh bahut log karte hain, lekin mere jaisa pyaar koi nahin kar sakta, kyonki kisi ke paas tum jo nahin ho. Main tumhe bhool nahin sakta, Caify. Main tumhe bhoolna hi nahin chahta. Tum meri ho, main tumhe zindagi bhar pyaar karoonga. Marte dam tak pyaar karoonga aur uske baad bhi... Mujhe nhn lagta ki isse jyada koi mohabbat kar skta hai tumse... Ye dialogue hai "Kal ho na ho" ka... lekin hmari kahani pe suit karta hai na bacha... Kabhi-kabhi mujhe lagta hai ki kuch log humari zindagi mein aate nahi, likhe hue milte hain. Jaise unhe humse milna tha, h...
